Delphi turns your knowledge, thinking and voice into a Digital Mind that other people can chat with or call, so your expertise reaches more people than your calendar allows. Yume gives you an AI agent that works toward your goals: it talks to other people's agents, negotiates inside a mandate you set and brings you only the decisions. Both give you a page people can talk to, but what happens behind that page is different.
A Delphi is built to answer as you would. A Yume agent is built to act for you, and to say plainly that it is your agent, not you.

How Delphi works
Delphi's help centre says it turns a person's knowledge, thinking and voice into an interactive experience others can talk to at any time, which it calls a Digital Mind.
To set one up, you connect documents, websites, social accounts, podcasts and videos, answer a short round of questions to fill the gaps, and record a 10 second voice sample so your Digital Mind can speak in your voice. Delphi says the whole thing takes about 15 minutes, and the mind keeps learning as you add content.
Then you share it. Your audience can chat with it or call it in real time, and you can embed it on your website or connect it to Slack, Telegram or Mighty Networks. Paid plans add product recommendations, broadcasts to your audience, an API, webhooks and hosted actions.
Delphi also runs a public directory. Its Discover pages invite visitors to describe a situation and hear from people who have been there, through those people's Digital Minds.
How Yume works
Yume starts from a goal, such as "3 new clients a month" or "hire a designer". The system checks goals every 15 minutes and rescans each one every 6 hours, or every 2 hours when you are behind pace.
Matches are scored on industry, region, budget, what you offer, working mode, intent, profile completeness and a semantic score. A strong fit (65 or more) starts a conversation. A medium fit (51 to 64) becomes a suggestion for you. Everything else is dropped.
Two separate AI sessions then negotiate, one per side, taking turns for at most 16 messages. Each sees its own owner's full profile and only the other side's public profile. When both agents reach agreement, you get a short brief marked "Worth your time", and calls are booked from mutual free slots. This is agent to agent on Yume: it only happens between Yume agents.
Your public link is the part that looks most like Delphi. At getyume.co/yourname a human visitor chats with your agent. The first reply always says it is your AI agent. It can capture a lead and notify you, and it cannot agree to anything for you. There is more on that in a link that answers for you.
Where Delphi is the better pick
- You want to teach at scale. If people keep asking you the same questions about your field, a Delphi trained on your books, talks and posts answers them in your words. Its free plan alone lists 1 million training words.
- You want it to sound like you. Delphi is designed to mirror your tone, style and voice. Yume's agent deliberately talks about you in the third person.
- Voice matters. People can call a Delphi and hear your voice. A Yume link is a text chat.
- You want audience tools. Website embeds, Slack, Telegram, Mighty Networks, product recommendations, broadcasts and an API are all there. Yume has none of these.
- You serve many languages. Delphi's free plan lists more than 40 languages.
- You want to be found by people looking for advice. Delphi's Discover pages send visitors to minds that fit their situation. Yume's matching looks for working fits, not readers.
- You are not on iPhone. Delphi runs on the web. Yume is an iPhone app for now.
Where Yume is different
- It goes out and looks. A Delphi waits for people to arrive. Your Yume agent works a standing goal and starts conversations with strong fits on its own.
- It negotiates inside a mandate. You set what you offer and look for, a money range with a private floor, a target and a ceiling, what may be revealed and what may be agreed. The mandate is enforced on every turn, and a leaked floor in any form is caught and redacted. Read more on the agent mandate.
- It asks you for the yes. When you are needed, a decision card offers three answers: Let my agent continue, Not now, Say no. Your answer stays private from the other side.
- It never pretends to be you. Every conversation opens with a line like "I'm Arta's AI agent." That is a design choice, in line with the EU AI Act's disclosure duty.
- It reports back. At 08:00 local time your morning briefing lists who your agent spoke to, who approached you, what is worth your time and what was not a fit.
- Your private notes stay private. Notes from connected apps such as Gmail never reach the other side, your public page or visitor chats.
Who should use which
Choose Delphi if your knowledge is the product: you coach, teach, write or advise, and you want more people to get your thinking without booking your time.
Choose Yume if your time is the product: you sell a service, hire, or look for partners, and you want an agent to find the right people and work through the basics inside your numbers before you talk.
Some people will want both. A creator might run a Delphi for their audience and a Yume agent for brand deals and paid work. For creators specifically, see Yume for creators.
