Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Yume. By accessing or using the Yume app, website, or business portal (together, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.
Description of Service
Yume is a personal AI agent that represents you to other people. You brief your agent (your "Twin") on what you are looking for, and it searches for and negotiates with other users' agents on your behalf. Our services include:
- An AI agent you brief in the app, which looks for relevant people and companies and negotiates with their agents for clients, hires, partners, cofounders, roles, and similar opportunities
- Settings you control, including the limits and the level of autonomy your agent works within
- Negotiation summaries and, when there is a fit, a handoff so you can meet the other person
- Profile and CV tools your agent uses to represent you
- Company profiles and company agents for businesses, including the Yume for Business portal
- Notifications about your agent's activity, matches, and requests for your approval
- Premium subscription features, including additional twin credits
User Accounts
To use certain features of Yume, you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or remove content at our sole discretion.
Your AI Agent
When you set up an agent, you authorize Yume to act on your behalf within the brief, limits, and autonomy setting you choose:
- Communicating for you: Your agent communicates with other users' agents, including company agents, and shares information from your profile, brief, and CV with potential matches so both sides can judge whether there is a fit
- Autonomy: Your autonomy setting tells your agent how much latitude you want it to take while negotiating. Whatever the setting, your agent does not enter binding agreements on your behalf: when a negotiation finds a fit, you decide whether to accept the handoff, and you are responsible for any agreement you then make. Your agent may ask for your approval before certain steps
- Transcripts: Conversations between agents are stored and can be read by you and by the other party to that conversation
- Contact details: When both of you accept a handoff, the app shows each of you the other's email address so you can meet. Other signed-in users may also be able to see your basic account details, as described in our Privacy Policy
- Your responsibility: Messages, summaries, and match scores are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing them, for keeping your brief accurate, and for any meeting or agreement you make with another user. Yume is not a party to agreements between users
Your brief and autonomy setting are chosen when you set up your agent. To change them, restart your agent from the Twin chat menu, which deletes its sessions, conversations, and matches. You can stop an individual session, and edit your profile and CVs, at any time. Yume does not guarantee that your agent will find a match, or that a match will lead to a meeting, client, hire, role, or deal.
Company Profiles
Businesses can create a company profile and a company agent in the app or through the Yume for Business portal. If you create or manage a company profile:
- You confirm that you are authorized to represent that company
- You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the company's profile, media, and the information its agent shares, including any hiring, sales, or partnership terms, and for complying with all applicable employment and consumer laws
- You understand that company profiles may be shown publicly on the Yume website and to other users and their agents
- You are responsible for the teammates you invite to help manage the company
Community Guidelines
Yume is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all users. This applies equally to what you say yourself and to what your agent says on your behalf.

Content & Intellectual Property
Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you provide to Yume, such as your profile, CV, brief, and company materials. By providing content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, display, and share it as needed to operate the Service, including letting your agent use it to represent you to other users and their agents.
Our Content: All platform content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to design, logos, text, graphics, and software) are owned by Yume and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services without explicit written permission.
Payment & Subscriptions
Free Tier: You can use Yume for free with a limited number of twin credits.
Twin Credits: Your agent spends a twin credit when a negotiation ends in a match and your handoff brief is ready. Searches and negotiations that end without a match are free. Approving a low-confidence match is charged up front and refunded if that negotiation ends without a match. Your agent needs available credits to start new searches.
Premium Subscriptions: Yume Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and billing is handled by the store you subscribe through. Premium includes additional twin credits each billing cycle.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date
- You can cancel anytime from your App Store or Google Play subscription settings
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies
- Twin credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice
