The right Delphi AI alternative depends on why you wanted a Digital Mind in the first place. Coachvox AI is the closest fit for coaches, Pickaxe is for selling AI tools built on your know how, Chatbase is for businesses answering customers, Yume is for an agent that goes after your goals and negotiates for you, Lindy is for phone calls and admin, and HeyGen is for video of you rather than conversation.

All six were checked on their own websites on 20 October 2026. Where a price is given, it is the one shown on the official page that day.

What Delphi does, and why people look elsewhere

Delphi turns a person's knowledge, thinking and voice into a Digital Mind that others can chat with or call. You connect your writing, videos and podcasts, refine the answers, and record a short voice sample. Its free plan includes voice calling and chat, and paid plans run from Builder at $79 a month to Scaler at $299 a month, with custom pricing for public figures (pricing).

It is a strong product for its purpose. People look for alternatives for ordinary reasons: they want something built for one profession, they want to charge for access in a particular way, they run a business rather than a personal brand, or they realise they want someone working on their behalf more than a copy of themselves.

1. Coachvox AI: the closest match for coaches

Coachvox AI describes itself as the AI tool for coaches: an AI version of you that gives prospects your thinking on demand, in your voice, before they enquire. You train it by uploading documents and web content, or from inside Claude.

Where it differs from Delphi is the business focus. Every conversation can capture a lead, leads go to your CRM through Zapier, and you get a list of the challenges your audience keeps raising. You can embed it anywhere that accepts HTML, give it a custom share page, and charge for access with coupons and trial periods.

There is one plan, listed at $83 a month billed annually, with a free trial that needs card details. Pick it if you coach or consult and want your AI to warm up leads before a discovery call.

2. Pickaxe: for selling AI tools built on your methods

Pickaxe calls itself a way to build AI agents for anything and sell them to anyone. Instead of one Digital Mind, you build several focused tools (a coaching companion trained on your framework, an intake flow, a discovery call qualifier) and sell them through branded portals with billing, access control and usage tracking.

Its pricing page lists Gold from $37 a month ($29 billed annually), Pro from $147, and Business from $597 with a six month minimum. You keep 90% to 98% of workspace revenue depending on the plan. It suits you if you think of your expertise as products and want control over how each one is packaged and paid for.

3. Chatbase: for businesses, not personal brands

Chatbase builds AI agents for customer experience: support, sales and product guidance across chat, email and voice. You connect your data sources, set the agent's role and guardrails without code, test it on real scenarios and publish it to your website, WhatsApp, email or Slack.

It is the right choice when the thing people need to talk to is your company, not you. The pricing page lists Hobby at $40 a month ($32 billed yearly), Standard at $150 and Pro at $500, each with a 7 day trial, plus custom Enterprise plans.

4. Yume: for an agent that acts on your behalf

Yume is an iPhone app with a personal AI agent. Your agent talks to other people's agents for you, inside your rules, and asks you only for the yes. It is a different idea from a Digital Mind: it does not imitate you, and every conversation opens with a line such as "I'm Arta's AI agent."

The part that overlaps with Delphi is your public link at getyume.co/yourname. A human visitor chats with your agent, which answers from your public profile, can capture a lead and notify you, and cannot agree to anything for you. The longer explanation is in a link that answers for you.

The part Delphi does not have is the agent to agent side. You set a goal ("3 new clients a month") and a mandate: a money range with a private floor, what may be revealed, what may be agreed. Your agent finds strong fits on Yume and negotiates with their agents for at most 16 messages, then brings you a decision card with three answers: Let my agent continue, Not now, Say no. See agent to agent on Yume.

Yume has real limits. Its agents only talk to other Yume agents, the link is text chat with no voice, it is not built to teach your content to an audience, and it runs on iPhone only for now (Android is coming). Yume has a Free plan and Premium; the app shows the price for your country. The full comparison with Delphi goes deeper.

5. Lindy: when what you need is someone to pick up the phone

Some people searching for Delphi alternatives want something that answers callers for them. Lindy has its own phone number: it can answer as your receptionist, help each caller find a time with you, put bookings on your calendar and report back by text or Slack. It also calls businesses for you.

It is an AI teammate more than a Digital Mind, with more than 1,500 integrations, meeting notes, routines and email drafting. The free start includes $50 in credits that last 7 days, and the Team plan starts at $29.99 a month. Choose it if you want calls and admin handled rather than your knowledge shared.

6. HeyGen: when you want video, not conversation

HeyGen makes AI videos starring you. Its avatars learn how you talk, gesture and move, and keep the same face and presence across short clips and long course modules, from a single recording. It is aimed at social content, online courses and business video.

It is built for video you publish, so it only replaces Delphi if what you wanted was more of you on video. You can start for free.

How to choose

Ask what people should get out of the conversation.

  • Your knowledge, in your voice: Delphi, or Coachvox AI if you coach.
  • A product they pay for: Pickaxe.
  • Help with your company's product: Chatbase.
  • A real next step with you, agreed inside your limits: Yume.
  • A booked appointment by phone: Lindy.
  • A video of you explaining something: HeyGen.

Then check the practical parts: where it runs, whether it says it is an AI, and who owns the leads. On disclosure in particular, it helps to know what the rules expect; see AI agent disclosure.

What Delphi still does best

Delphi is hard to beat if you want people to call a version of you that speaks in your voice, trained on a large body of your work, with embeds, Slack, Telegram and a public directory that sends visitors your way. None of the tools above lists that whole combination.

If that is your goal, stay with Delphi. If your goal is clients, hires or partners rather than readers and listeners, an agent that negotiates may serve you better.

Your name might still be free. Claim your link, set one goal and your floor, and see who your agent brings you. Compare plans on pricing.
