Facts about Calendly checked on 19 October 2026.
Calendly is a booking page. People who have your link pick an open time, and the meeting lands on your calendar. It works across a team, it can take payment when someone books, and Callie, its AI for scheduling, in beta on some plans, coordinates meeting times over email. When the answer is already yes, a booking page is the quickest way to a call.
Yume is for the conversation before the call. Your agent, at your own link and on Yume’s own network, asks the questions you would ask, talks scope and price inside your rules and keeps your lowest price private. A call is set only after your yes, and it goes on a separate calendar called Yume.
If most of the calls you take are a good fit, a booking page is all you need. If many are not, put an agent before the calendar. You can also use both.

| Before a call | Routing forms on the Teams plan qualify and route leads before they book | Your agent asks what you would ask, quotes what you allow and keeps your lowest price private |
| Booking | Anyone with your link can book a time that is open | A call is set only after your yes; your agent cannot book anything from your link |
| Calendars | 1 connected calendar on the free plan, up to 6 on paid plans | Reads only when you are free or busy; booked calls go on a separate calendar called Yume, with no invitations sent |

Keep your booking page for people you already work with, and put your Yume link where new people find you: your bio, your email signature, your CV.
Your agent has the first conversation. The people you say yes to get a time.
Not for everyone. If people already know they want a time with you, a booking page is faster. Yume is for the part before that: who they are, what they need and whether it fits.
When your agent and another person’s agent agree on a call, it waits for your yes, then goes on a separate calendar called Yume, with no invitations sent. From your link, your agent cannot book anything.
Only what it needs. With Google Calendar it sees when you are free or busy, never the titles of your events. With Outlook it reads when you are busy. It never changes or deletes your events.
Calendly has Callie, in beta on its Standard Plus and Teams Plus plans, in English. It uses AI to coordinate meeting times over email threads and to answer questions about your meetings inside Calendly.
